Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and InkReels covering your use of the InkReels app and this website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

2. Your account

Some features require an account. You agree to give an accurate email address, to keep your password to yourself, and to tell us promptly at hello@inkreels.com if you believe someone else has gained access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create one.

3. Your content

You keep every right you already have in what you create with InkReels. We claim no ownership of your drawings, recordings, videos, or any other work you make.

You grant us only the narrow, practical permission needed to run the Service for you: to store your work, to move it between your own devices, and to process it through a feature at the moment you ask for that feature. This permission exists solely to operate the Service, ends when you delete the content or your account, and does not let us publish, sell, or use your work to promote InkReels without asking you first.

You are responsible for the content you create — in particular, for having the rights to any images, audio, or footage you bring into it.

4. Acceptable use

While using the Service, you agree not to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, or privacy;
• create or distribute content that sexualises minors, or that harasses, threatens, or incites violence against people;
• attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the Service, its security rules, or its infrastructure;
• use automated means to scrape the Service or to circumvent usage limits, including AI credit limits;
• resell or redistribute the Service as your own product.

We may suspend or close accounts that do these things, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can.

5. AI features

InkReels includes optional AI features that suggest frames, clean up sketches, and generate music. These are metered with AI credits shown in your account. Two things are worth being plain about:

• AI output is not guaranteed. It can be wrong, unoriginal, or unsuitable for your purpose. Review anything it produces before you rely on or publish it.
• AI requests leave your device. Content you submit through an AI feature is processed by our AI provider, as described in the Privacy Policy.

AI credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not refundable except where the law requires it.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may take the Service down for maintenance. If we plan to discontinue something you depend on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

7. Plans, subscriptions, and purchases

InkReels may offer free features, trials, recurring subscriptions, one-time purchases, export allowances, and AI credit packages. Prices, billing periods, included features, and applicable taxes are shown before purchase. Purchases made through an app store are billed and managed by that store under its payment terms.

• Recurring subscriptions continue until cancelled through the store or account used to purchase them.
• Deleting the app or your InkReels account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription.
• Refunds are handled under the purchasing store's rules and applicable law.
• Unused monthly export allowances do not roll over unless the offer expressly says they do.
• AI credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and expire only when disclosed at purchase.

8. Export quality and limits

Available formats, resolutions, quotas, and processing times depend on your plan, device, source material, and current product configuration. An export may fail because of device storage, unsupported media, network availability, or third-party processing. You are responsible for reviewing exported work before publishing or relying on it.

9. Our intellectual property

The InkReels app, website, name, and logo belong to us. These terms do not give you any right to use our branding, beyond using the Service as intended.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@inkreels.com. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, and liability — continue to apply after the agreement ends.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of work that matters to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost content arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will update this page and move the “last updated” date above, and we will give notice in the app for material changes. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
